As a certified 820 program, the George Rosenfeld Center for Recovery (GRCR) offers high-quality, culturally responsive stabilization and rehabilitation services for individuals with substance use disorders.
Our 820 stabilization program assists individuals in beginning their recovery process in a safe, comfortable environment where they can manage withdrawal symptoms, severe cravings, and medical symptoms before moving into the rehabilitation level of care.
The program is supervised by a physician who works with registered nurses and a licensed nurse practitioner to ensure a smooth transition from withdrawal into early recovery.
Addiction medications (Vivitrol, Suboxone, and Sublocade) are prescribed on-site; methadone is available via linkage with the Mount Sinai-Beth Israel Healthcare System.
The GRCR treats women, women with children, and seniors (50+). Our team of dedicated healthcare professionals includes addiction medicine specialists, nurses, licensed clinicians, and CASAC counselors. Most insurances are accepted.

We have beds available immediately for single adults, seniors 55 and older, pregnant women and women (over the age of 18) with children, and transitional-aged youth (18-24).
