Run for Your Life 2022

CELEBRATE RECOVERY DAY IN NYC!
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 17, 2022

Please join Odyssey House in commemorating Recovery Month at the 17th Annual Run for Your Life. Enjoy the natural splendor of Randall’s Island Park on a 5K course featuring urban gardens and waterfront views. This family-friendly event also includes children’s games and face painting, Zumba, health and wellness booths, and refreshments.

REGISTRATION INFO

Adult registration: $40.
Children under 12: Free
Nonprofit/treatment program registration: $25/person

Online registration is now open, or you can register in person on race day. If you lead a running group and wish to participate as a team, contact Carolyn Abrams at cabrams@odysseyhousenyc.org for information about group rates and registration.

RACE DAY DETAILS

Registration – 8 am
Children’s Races – 9:30 am
Recovery Walk – 10 am
5K Run – 10:30 am

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

Participate in the event: Individuals can participate by walking or running the course. Or form a team of friends, family or co-workers to join in on the fun. Ask your employer to sponsor a company team!

Corporate sponsorship: Download the Run for Your Life sponsorship packet or contact Carolyn Abrams at cabrams@odysseyhousenyc.org.

Silent auction: Bid on one of the great items in our silent auction. Make your way to the sponsor tent on race day to place your bid. Bidding closes at 11:15 am.

Make a donation: If you are unable to come but would like to make a donation in support of Run for Your Life, please click here. All proceeds are tax-deductible and benefit men, women, and children in treatment at Odyssey House.

DIRECTIONS

Subway/Bus: The M35 bus runs to the Island from the corner of 125th Street and Lexington Avenue (in front of Duane Reade). Transfer is available from the Lexington Avenue 4, 5 or 6 subway at 125th Street.

By Car: All automobile access is via the RFK Triborough Bridge. Once on the bridge, follow signs to Randall’s Island. If navigating with GPS, please use “20 Randall’s Island Park, New York, NY 10035″ as your destination.

By Foot: The 103rd Street Footbridge in Manhattan is open to pedestrians and cyclists 365 days per year, 24 hours per day and is accessible at the East River Esplanade at 103rd Street and FDR Drive. Pedestrians can also walk across the Robert F. Kennedy (Triborough) Bridge from Manhattan, Queens or the Bronx.
