Odyssey House provides ongoing training for social workers, mental health professionals, and substance abuse counselors. The topics range from training on evidence-based practices to those with an administrative focus.
We offer courses approved by the NYSED Office of the Professions & NYS Office of Alcoholism & Substance Abuse Services with certificates of completion and continuing education credits. Trainings are engaging, informative, and practical, preparing human services workers to meet challenges presented while working with underserved communities.

November 8: New Hire Processing, 9:30-12:30 pm
November 12: Incident Report training, 2-3:30 pm
November 19: Med Training, 2-4 pm (GRCR)
November 19: OASAS Clinical Chart training, 1-4 pm
November 21: Thinking for Change, 1-4 pm
November 22: New Hire Processing & Orientation, 9-5 pm (Wall Street)
November 26: De-escalation training
All trainings are located at the Odyssey House Harbor, 246 E. 121st Street, NYC unless otherwise noted.
