Team Odyssey is gearing up for the TCS New York City Marathon on Sunday, November 5. This year, we’ve assembled a squad of 60 members consisting of our dedicated staff, clients, alums, and volunteers. Together, we’ve set our sights on a fundraising target of $50,000, and we’re reaching out to you for your invaluable support!
Charity runner spotlight: Amber Bruckner
Last July, Amber lost her cousin, Michael, to overdose. He was only 29.
“In one of the last conversations I had with Michael, we discussed turning 30, and when I expressed apprehension, he responded with unwavering optimism, saying, “Are you kidding? They’ll be the best years of our lives!” He was determined to make positive changes as he approached his 30th birthday.
“As a tribute to Michael and his journey toward a healthier life that was tragically cut short, I am honoring his memory by running the NYC Marathon. In this way, I hope to keep Michael’s compassionate spirit alive and continue his legacy of helping others.”
I Run and…ACHIEVE
Over the summer, Team Odyssey met with New York Road Runners CEO Rob Simmelkjaer to talk about the impacts of running on setting new life processes to sustain healthy and meaningful lives.
