Odyssey House provides ongoing training for social workers, mental health professionals, and substance abuse counselors. The topics range from training on evidence-based practices to those with an administrative focus.
We offer courses approved by the NYSED Office of the Professions & NYS Office of Alcoholism & Substance Abuse Services with certificates of completion and continuing education credits. Trainings are engaging, informative, and practical, preparing human services workers to meet challenges presented while working with underserved communities.

August 6: CPR Training, 9-5 pm [CLOSED]
August 16: New Hire Processing & Orientation, 9:30 am – 5pm, HQ
August 20: CPR Training, 9-5 pm (GRCR staff only)
August 27: Counselor Skills Training, 2-4 pm
August 29-30: Recovery Coach Ethics and Boundaries Training, 9-5 pm
August 30: New Hire Processing, 9:30 am – 12:30 pm, HQ
All trainings are located at the Odyssey House Harbor, 246 E. 121st Street, NYC unless otherwise noted.
