Spotlight on: Enhanced Residential Treatment for Formerly Incarcerated Men
Odyssey House offers a specialized program that provides residential substance use disorder (SUD) treatment, peer-based mentoring, and recovery support to formerly incarcerated men, with the goal of facilitating the successful reentry and reintegration of adult offenders back to the community and promoting ongoing recovery.
The program uses several evidence-based practices, including Moral Reconation Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Men’s Trauma Recovery Empowerment. Additional program highlights include outreach, screening, connections to recovery support services (e.g., NA/AA, OH ROCS), vocational rehabilitation, referrals to other services, and appropriate discharge planning.

Odyssey House offers:
- Virtual assessments (via video or phone)
- On-site COVID-19 diagnostic and antibody testing
- Medication-assisted treatment
- Ability to manage medical and psychiatric co-morbidities
