Odyssey House provides ongoing training for social workers, mental health professionals, and substance abuse counselors. The topics range from training on evidence-based practices to those with an administrative focus.
We offer courses approved by the NYSED Office of the Professions & NYS Office of Alcoholism & Substance Abuse Services with certificates of completion and continuing education credits. Trainings are engaging, informative, and practical, preparing human services workers to meet challenges presented while working with underserved communities.

October 9: Tobacco cessation training, 1-4 pm
October 11: New Hire Processing, 9:30-12:30 pm
October 17: Ethics and Boundaries & Sexual Harassment training, 1-5 pm
October 22: Awards Tier 3 for Supervisors, 1-4 pm
October 25: New Hire Processing & Orientation, 9:30-5 pm
October 25: Opioid Overdose Prevention, 1-2 pm
October 30: OASAS Trauma training, 8:30-4:30 pm
October 31: OASAS Trauma training, 8:30-4:30 pm
All trainings are located at the Odyssey House Harbor, 246 E. 121st Street, NYC unless otherwise noted.
