Colleen Beagen
Vice President & Director of Human Resources
Colleen Beagen, Vice President, Director of Human Resources is responsible for developing and implementing human resources initiatives for 350 clinical, medical, and administrative staff.
Ms. Beagen also manages a department that oversees recruitment and retention; compensation and benefits administration; performance management and improvement systems; human resources information systems and payroll; policy development and documentation; employee orientation and development; employee relations; legal and corporate compliance; organizational development; and employee safety, welfare, wellness and health.
Colleen joined Odyssey House in 2000 as Assistant Director of Human Resources and was promoted to Vice President in 2008. Prior to joining the company, she oversaw the career development division of the human resources department at Bell Atlantic/Verizon.
Colleen earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Services from Lander University (South Carolina) and a Master of Education in Community Counseling from Clemson University.
