Richard C. O’Connor

Rick O’Connor has chaired the Odyssey House Board since 2012, leveraging over 20 years of service to guide strategic planning, secure funding, and enhance the organization’s brand identity.
A Tufts University graduate with an MBA from Babson College, Rick previously served as Vice President of Marketing at CVS Caremark and Chief Marketing Officer at Point32Health and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care.
He is also the founder of CACOMA, a nonprofit addressing Cape Cod’s environmental issues, and serves on the boards of Cape Abilities and the Association to Preserve Cape Cod.
It is the mission of Odyssey House:
To provide comprehensive and innovative services to the broadest range of metro New York’s population who:
- Abuse drugs
- Abuse alcohol
- Suffer from mental illness
To provide high quality, holistic treatment impacting all major life spheres: psychological, physical, social, family, educational, and spiritual.
To support personal rehabilitation, renewal, and family restoration.
In all of its activities, Odyssey House undertakes to act as a responsible employer and member of the community, and manage the assets of the organization in a professional manner.
