Meet April’s Wednesday Wellness champ!

The last Wednesday of each month, we recognize an Odyssey House employee for their positive wellness efforts. This person is working on their wellness goals and along the way, they are inspiring others around them. This employee is the Wellness Wednesday Champion.

Congratulations to our first champion, Ms. Brigitte Winston. Brigitte has been motivating the employees at Park Ave and even started a weekly yoga class. Keep up the great work, Brigitte!

Wellness Champion Q & A with Ms. Winston

  • Odyssey House site/position: Park Ave, Administrative Assistant/Entitlement Specialist
  • What’s your favorite food? I enjoy eating cakes pies and all things sweet; however, my favorite food is pasta with seafood.
  • What’s your favorite way to stay fit? Staying fit for me is fun with yoga and swimming, both require a focus on the breath and enjoying the elements of nature (water & air).
  • Any words of wisdom for other OH employees looking to improve their health? I strongly recommend SMILING DAILY; it burns calories and looks good with every outfit.
