The NYC Marathon may have been canceled this year, but that didn’t stop Jesse Liriano from running the 26.2-mile route last Sunday. On what would have been the marathon’s 50th anniversary, Jesse hit the road on a cold, rainy morning – all in the service of raising money for Odyssey House.
“Odyssey House holds a special place for me because of the work they do day in and day out,” Jesse told his supporters. “I lost my father to a drug overdose when I was 2 years old. The services Odyssey House provides for people… make sure no one [has] to suffer the same fate my father did.”
Since starting his fundraiser, Jesse has raised more than $1,000 in just over a week for the men, women, and families in our programs. Please join us in thanking Jesse for his wonderful efforts! Please click here if you’d like to support his fundraiser.
