GEORGE ROSENFELD

George Rosenfeld joined Odyssey House and Odyssey Foundation Boards of Trustees in 1997 and was elected Chairman of the Boards in 2002.

During his tenure at Odyssey House, George has championed not only services for families and individuals but the establishment of Odyssey House ElderCare, a residential and outpatient treatment program for older people with substance use disorders.

George has served on the boards of several New York nonprofit organizations including Village Center for Care and Little Red School House/Elizabeth Irwin High School and is a trustee of the Mary and Milton B. Rosenback Foundation.

George worked in the financial sector for more for than 40 years, primarily as an independent stock broker on the American Stock Exchange. Currently, he tutors writing at Urban Academy, a public high school in New York City. He also serves on a national educational board called FairTest and is a trustee of the Lexi Rudnitsky Poetry Project.
